Online Parent Access Complete

Congratulations!

You have successfully created a parent account through MyGeorgiaSouthern. The next steps in the process need to be taken by your student. In order for you to access your students’ grades, tuition and fees invoices, or enrollment verification, your student must complete the following steps.

  • Your student must log into their MyGeorgiaSouthern portal account by visiting my.georgiasouthern.edu.
  • Once your student is in their account, they will need to click on "Personal Settings" under the Service Group tab on the bottom left hand side of their page.
  • Under Personal Settings, they should see a link for "Online Parent Services."
  • When your student logs into this page, their parent(s) name should appear under "Parent Services Setup."
  • Your student will be able to select which services that they wish to grant to each parent (i.e. Tuition Payment Options, Midterm Grades, etc.).
  • Once your student has selected the services they would like to grant each parent, they must hit "Save" at the bottom of the screen. They will then be asked to verify the information that was inputted and "Save Service(s)" again.
  • Following this process, the parent (you) will be able to view these services in their MyGeorgiaSouthern portal.
  • Remember - Parents can enter their MyGeorgiaSouthern portal by going to parents.georgiasouthern.edu and logging into the Parent Eagle Nation. Once logged in, hover over "Resources" and click "MyGeorgiaSouthern Portal." Once you have arrived on the page, click "Access MyGeorgiaSouthern Now." You should automatically be redirected to the MyGeorgiaSouthern portal that you have just set up.
